But it wasn’t all about US politics:

  • Juan Gerardo Domínguez pointed to a brighter future in a talk on “Cooperativism & the Solidarity Economy.”
  • Marco Gomez and Maria Lucero Jiménez Guzmán looked “Toward a Workers’ Economy.”
  • Returning from nine months working with Syrian refugees on Samos, Sallie Latch reported on “The Refugee Crisis in Greece.”
  • Joan Roelofs and Cliff DuRand explored “Varieties of Socialism.”
  • Gregory Diamant addressed “Anxiety, Automation and the Future of Work”
  • Betsy Bowman looked at the on-going economic crisis.
  • Cliff DuRand discussed “Building a Good Society”
