Gaza, Ukraine, China and the Case for American Isolationism

The American liberal-left’s traditional concern with human rights, democracy and peace has now become a cover for out-of-control US imperialism. Chances for a morality-driven “anti-war” movement are zero. Avoiding World War III will require the creation of a progressive domestic populism focusing on the needs of the average American and minding our own business in the world.

Jeff Faux is the principal founder of the Economic Policy Institute of Washington, D.C and its president from 1985 until August 2002. His most recent books include The Servant Economy: Where America’s Elite is Sending the Middle Class, The Global Class War, The Party’s Not Over, and New Hope for the Inner City.
