Report from Cuba

The Center for Global Justice recently sent a delegation to Cuba that toured various parts of Cuba and participated in a conference on the current debates and contradictions regarding "The Construction of Socialism: Theory and Practice." Some of the delegation members will share what they have learned--experiences, observations, reflections, impressions and concerns. They will discuss such issues as the health and educational systems, art and revolutionary traditions, the effects of the U.S. blockade, shortages and the black market, the impact of the pandemic, inequality, resilience, private enterprise and cooperatives, youth, currency and inflation, etc. Join the dialog.
