Both men and women have the mother's wound. Its manifestations are personal, cultural, spiritual  and planetary.  In the context of patriarchal cultures, it refers to the pervasive, capitalist cultures rooted in colonization and destruction of the earth that have come to dominate much of the world. This talk is focused on Mexican Women. What is the Mother Wound , what it is and what effects it has in us, how it manifests, and the power dynamics it feeds on.

Aura Medina de Wit is a Mexican psychologist .  She will talk about issues women have with their mothers.  She has published a book on the subject which is a best seller throughout Latin America.
