This panel looks at concrete ways we can and actually are Moving Beyond Capitalism. With the long decline in US manufacturing and the 2008 financial crisis, millions have been thrown out of work and many lost their homes. On this, the 240th anniversary of independence from England, is it time to now declare independence from Wall Street banks and greedy corporations? The revolt against the political establishment this campaign season suggests many USians are looking for new ways forward.
